The D.I.C.E. (which stands for “Design Innovate Communicate Entertain”) Awards, which will be presented this year on February 13th in Las Vegas, are, in a lot of ways, the “Oscars” of video games based on their longevity (this will be the 22nd edition) and prestige they carry. 23 awards in total will be presented, with 56 games receiving nominations. Sony and Santa Monica Studio’s God of War leads the nomination count with 12, shortly followed by Marvel’s Spider-Man, also by Sony (and Insomniac Games) with 11.

As with most awards of this variety, each year sees an individual given a special career achievement award (think the Cecil B. DeMille Award Jeff Bridges received at the Golden Globes this year). For the D.I.C.E. Awards, this is their Hall of Fame Award, and this year it will be given to Bonnie Ross, Microsoft Corporate Vice President and Head of 343 Industries.

So, here we go with the list of awards and nominees. For brevity’s sake, we’re just going to list the game title and not the studios. If you’d like to see that, you can find the whole announcement here.
