The list is currently being made on the main Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit. A majority of the changes listed are minor and understandably absent from CD Projekt Red’s official patchnotes. However, there are a few significant changes worth calling attention to that have somehow been ignored by CD Projekt Red - changes that may make gamers question whether CD Projekt Red might have been trolling Cyberpunk 2077 players by leaving them off the patch notes list.

Perhaps the biggest notable change is that critical hit chance has been significantly nerfed. The 100% critical hit chance build was a popular option among Cyberpunk 2077 players, but that build now seems to be impossible. Instead, it’ll be a challenge to even get close. Additionally, enemies that are quick-moving are now significantly better at dodging certain heavy weapons like shotguns. This seems like a conscious decision to try and encourage players to try other weapon types, potentially left unmentioned to avoid player frustration.
Other changes are minor and relatively unimportant in the grand scheme of improvements to Cyberpunk 2077, explaining their absence from the official patch notes. For example, grenades no longer have weight, some Cyberpunk 2077 weapons now require above 10 Body to be used optimally, and other various changes that most players will likely never run into or acknowledge.
Some changes being listed by Cyberpunk 2077 players on Reddit are actually just new bugs that they’ve found. Players have had issues with looking at the world map, the random Legendary gear modifications, and kids playing with guns. That’s the problem with changes being left off the official patch notes - it’s impossible to tell if it’s an intentional change or something done unintentionally.
It just goes to show that the 1.5 patch for Cyberpunk 2077 is substantial. It’s so big that it got away from CD Projekt Red, and certain changes were seemingly left off the patch notes. That’s perhaps still emblematic of the problem that led to Cyberpunk 2077’s frustrating launch, but regardless, it’s better that CD Projekt Red is making changes than not.
Cyberpunk 2077 is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
